With over 40 members together with partners and sponsors, the Benelux Chapter set a one common goal: “To promote the development and use of open standards in all digital communication processes”.
Summary
Founded in April 2005, the buildingSMART Benelux, represents participants from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. (BeNeLux). These Benelux members are a coalition of innovative companies within the building industry. You need not be a constructor or installation company to be involved with buildingSMART. The buildingSMART platform includes all types of business from; Research and Development organizations, Educational organizations (universities), Governmental and public sectors.
Department
As buildingSMART Benelux has grown, The Benelux chapter has successfully filtered companies and forged 3 departments. Grouping theses members in departments by their unique characteristics within the market, this association fulfils a broad platform function, in which the members exchange their experiences, transfer knowledge and develop ideas. Execution and implementation of these exchanges are then the primary objectives.
