ExCom has produced the attached guidelines so that all printed and electronic material can be produced to a common format, for both International and regional Chapters.
The design is based on what was previously regarded as the correct design, but with variations to deal with specific problems found in use, notably the rarity of the font for SMART and the need to provide extra information for legal or practical reasons. From reviews of existing material we expect that the guidelines can be followed in almost all situations.
At the Seoul meeting IC adopted the design guidelines for use in all buildingSMART organisations and delegated to ExCom the power to finalise them, taking account of comments made by members. It was decided to delete the map. It was also decided to include the certification logo. The document which follows is the one agreed by ExCom after this further review.
Chapters and Groups are requested to implement the guidelines at their earliest convenience in accordance with the Council decision.
