A number of commercial software packages support IFC. Most of the systems provide IFC import and/or export as part of their standard package. Some companies offer an online update of the IFC converters, which can be installed and removed independent from the base software (Plug-in, Add-on). There are also third party products that enable IFC functionality for a base system. Only official certified software packages are allowed to use the certification logo.
There is a online database where one can search for IFC compatible software. You can search for application name, software vendor, application domain, supported IFC release and much more.
