Please set aside time to attend the buildingSMART International Users Group meeting being held in conjunction with the Ecobuild Conference on Tuesday 8 December from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Washington DC Convention Center. This session will provide you with the opportunity to voice your ideas on industry transformation as it relates to the efforts of the fifty-four countries working together to implement open BIM standards. A detailed agenda will be forthcoming shortly.
You may also want think about substantial users already in your Chapter membership or potential user members who could link up with major users in the US (such as the GSA and the Army Corps of Engineers) and in other countries in a joint effort to move the industry forward.
